Key design features were guided by principles from multimedia learning research (Clark & Mayer, 2024):
Spatial contiguity: Related text and images are positioned together to reduce cognitive load.
Signaling: Color and formatting highlight categories and key distinctions.
Transfer: The layout encourages practical use by supporting recall and reference in clinical care.
The infographic was created in Canva using DM Sans font. It meets basic accessibility guidelines for screen contrast and clarity.
